Have i been scammed on Preloved?

Of course he will be. there is so many fools out there that hasnt got any common sense.

i didnt ask you to think. i ask you to go to bank and try to reverse it

 

 

They won't reverse it, but don't worry I will pursue it, he won't get away with it.

Contacted Preloved, but apparently they don't even always reply, but he is still 'selling' the item

Have you got a link to the advert?

 

Preloved have replied and taken it off, there may be a genuine reason why no contact, but its unlikely.

Bank Transfer technique is used by scammers a lot - Can't be reversed.

Especially is you've selected the "pay friends and family" option.

 

Which is why they do it,

 

Use Paypal.

 

 

I would argue in the age of internet trading, that protocol looks like it needs reviewing, the scammers are getting away with millions, no wonder crime stats are down, its gone online!

Well, bypassed Action Fraud, seemed more of a reporting centre, local police are coming tomorrow, he may be ripping off others.
