neeeeeeeeeek
The extended warranty is with domestic and general so speaking to them first. They are still liable to repair it, we just don't want it repaired as have no confidence in it. Thanks people.
barleycorn
Hmmm, it seems that Jessops went under and re-emerged as... Jessops! but a different company, so technically, they are not responsible for it.. Just to clarify, was the camera bought before 9th Jan 2013 or after 28th March 2013? jb
Obelix
I was wondering that as they could be trying to pull a really sneaky fast one...
Cyclone
FWIW you could ask the manufacturer to replace it if Jessops are being difficult (and the consumer credit act doesn't apply).
neeeeeeeeeek
Just to clarify, was the camera bought before 9th Jan 2013 or after 28th March 2013? jb Was bought before so definitely before it closed down. D&G referred us to the repair center, they say they need a report on the camera before they can consider replacing it. Will give them the benefit of the doubt but personally, I think they are making it up as they go along!
