RJRB
Anybody know if the programme is on target From their site it seems that it is due to carry on until 2017. However it's not easy to see what areas are due in 2015 as you can only search by post code. Whilst many side roads are much improved there are many main arterial routes not yet touched,
Guest
This has been posted in various threads lots of times....I assume this is what you mean? https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/roads/works/schemes/streetsaheadproject/works-schedules/works-map.html Just look at the area you're interested in and look at the colour. SpeedwayDan
The roads around here have been delayed twice now. They've given up sending a date and will just notify people a few weeks before commencing.
RobertDay
One of the reasons for delays might be that they are resurfacing our pavements (Tunwell Greave) which are perfectly good and don't need the digging up that they are getting right at this minute. Meanwhile, the road surfaces yards away are a disgrace.
geared
Probably down to snow and frost abit as well - is there a limit temperature wise like with laying bricks?? I'd imagine there's all sorts of factors that can cause delays - people not moving cars, problems with drains and utilities etc.
kevvy
I understood our area Coisley Hill was supposed to have been started October last year. No sign of it yet !

Meanwhile, the road surfaces yards away are a disgrace. They are doing the roads once the pavements are completed. I have rung them on more than one occasion because I live near Tunwell Greave and our footpaths are complete and like your road ours is a disgrace. I shall be contacting them again shortly. I've got to say that part of the reason they did paths was because they installed new street lights. While the work is not as quick as it should be and the disruption not nice at least it's getting done albeit tardily. Even Amey can't help the weather
