HCF2010
Come and share your memories of Tinsley and celebrate its diverse history at our drop in event at Tinsley Library on the 13th of February. The team behind the Heritage Lottery funded ‘Exploring Tinsley Manor’ project will be bringing lots of interesting information and photos including a record of everyone who lived at Manor Farm between 1841 and 1966 researched and produced by Susan Kahler one of the project’s wonderful volunteers. The team think that Manor Farm could be the Medieval Tinsley Manor House built in the 12th Century which became a farmhouse and was only demolished in the 1960’s to make way for the now Tinsley Meadows School. Please bring photos memories and comments to share as we talk about Tinsley in the past. Please get in touch with Sally Rodgers, Project Officer for more information e-mail youngroots@heeleyfarm.org.uk or phone 01143039981
