Why is blacklist not racist?

Recommended Posts

So where did I say it was acceptable?

It's not necessary to avoid using a word, when you're talking about that word.

The word is offensive if used in many contexts, but the context of the discussion of that word is not one of them.

If your saying that it's not acceptable, why use it?

There was no need to use that word at all.

Complete numpty IMO

Yes.

...................

No they sing

Blah blah, that sheep

Are you having a good day?

I sure hope so

Because I wouldn’t want to offend you

In any way.

Or maybe even judging the sheep to be a sheep is speciesist so we should just call it an Entity.

To the OP, I have just purchased some Dulux Blackboard paint. It's definitely still Blackboard paint, not chalkboard paint, on the tin anyway. B&Q seem to find it necessary to call it chalkboard paint on their website, even though the image of the tin says blackboard paint.

My daughter's nursery has a different colour theme each week, where the children take items of a specific colour to nursery with them each day. Last week was blue week, the week before it was pink week... This week is black week!

Cracking, give her a photo of martin luther king or nelson mandella to take
