Bonzo77
BE careful. I avoid paying tax whenever possible but that is not fraud and you would be wise not to libel people for acting perfecly legally. Yeah, cos no one on here labels people for acting perfectly legally! ---------- Post added 26-02-2015 at 12:55 ---------- You don't own a business that you set up then? I do. Why do you think setting up a business is wrong? JC and GB were evading tax, not avoiding. I do own a business, I'm self employed. I pay every penny in tax. Probably more than most people would do in my position, but i like to be ethical. I can more than afford it. To be honest, I don't know the details about GB and JC, I can just remember Cameron saying what JC was doing was not illegal but was morally wrong. Mister M
'Actors Emma Thompson and Greg Wise have said 'Jail HSBC cheats or we won't pay tax.' Incensed at the lack of action against not only tax dodgers, but tax officials who let it happen, actors Emma Thompson and Greg Wise have said they will refuse to pay tax until the miscreants are in jail, and they are encouraging others to show solidarity by doing the same. Would that PAYE tax payers had the chance to withdraw tax, but at least the luvvies are trying to do something to raise the issue and make a stand. Good luck to them. I will be watching with interest. Let's see what happens... Lol. As you can imagine, the news that Greg Wise & Emma Thompson are protesting about the lenient treatment of HSBC has got the Daily Mail class warrior 'chips on their shoulders' brigade frothing at the mouth! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2967223/Emma-Thompson-won-t-pay-penny-tax-evil-b-s-prison-says-husband-Greg-Wise-HSBC-row.html#reader-comments
