neeeeeeeeeek
Arrrrrghhhhh, I have discovered a new passion. Just how much I HATE DECORATING! OK, so the walls drove me a bit nuts but I just about kept it together. The ceilings, pretty much the same. Now, the line between the two.... ARGGGH, I HATE IT! The wall paint went onto the ceiling a bit, so now I'm trying to touch the ceiling up and getting it all over the walls. F*&^^&*&!! Are those paint pads any good for doing edges? I need something, after about 30 seconds I want to go on a killing spree and have to stop. The white doesn't seem to cover the wall colour on the ceiling but gets all over the walls. Its all a bloody mess now. Last time I used masking tape it took loads of paint off when I removed and it didn't leave great edges. The other room was OK as it had cornices but this room doesn't. Magneteer
You need a cutting in brush, about £3 from Wilkos. The brush hair is cut at an angle so that you can paint a nice straight clean line without the hair at the back of the brush smudging onto the ceiling. neeeeeeeeeek
My brush is angled, I think it might be one of those. I don't think I have the patience. I will have a go though with a proper one. Have you tried the pad things? are they crap?
barleycorn
Try frog tape, it's far better than masking tape (more expensive too) and doesn't strip the paint off when removed. It comes in different grades of adhesion, you'll probably need the delicates stuff which is yellow rather than the standard which is green. jb

Allen
Just paint the whole lot magnolia and be done with it! If you need colour hang a few paintings/ photos on the walls. Mirrors are a bad idea......
