In the case of Smithy and mosdog it isn't so much a hobby but a way of life. It's interesting but not surprising on a troll thread that they both present trolling as a virtuosity, something valuable as a means to communicate with. What they miss through narcissism is they don't actually communicate with, they communicate at. It's like sitting in a pub and chatting with a bunch of peers who can have differing or same opinions, while the said troll is by default on the perimeter attempting to interact in a sad sack 'please let me play' while fondling his balls without realizing the inappropriateness.
