Lesmit56
Does anyone remember Hancocks shop Rock St Pitsmoor? I t was a real open all hours place that sold everything you could think of. Mr Hancock even wore a brown duster coat.
Siren
Lesmit I remember it well I lived just below it on Helen Terrace. I remember his smock well and his habit of sticking his hand out as soon as he told you the cost of what you had bought. It always had a lovely smell of cheese as you walked in. shaunfl
I had regular trips down there for paraffin to fill the bathroom heater, when they shut I had a longer trip down to the Fina garage at the bottom of Catherine St.

Cycleracer
I remember Hancocks and Mr Hancock in his brown smock (sometimes grey) mustache and round glasses, looked a bit like the butler in the 60s batman series. Like Shaun always went there for parafin for the bathroom heater and after it closed had to go to the shop near Marshalls on Roe lane used to carry it back on an old pram.
