Labour - Limit dole to 2 years

Recommended Posts

Yes and 93% HB claims cost come from those IN WORK. Mostly because of greedy employers not paying their staff enough wages, and landlords exploiting the housing shortage and our HB system.

This fact still seems to pass a lot of people by. Probably because the government prefers not to publicise it. However, they are also having a go at them too, by saying they have to take a second job or improve their position and get a better paid job, like they hadn't thought of that....

What about having a go at the employers, to pay a living wage instead?

There are jobs, hundreds of thousands of them.

Anybody disagreeing with the statement I make here: feel free to convince me that there are no jobs.

Yes there are thousands of jobs, millions perhaps, but most of them are taken and there are not enough for everyone who wants one on any given day

Convince me that there aren't any. Don't just go turn that on its head.

But here you go:

http://www.reed.co.uk/jobs/sheffield

https://www.randstad.co.uk/jobs/q-sheffield/

I can carry on, but trust me, there is work for everybody who is interested.

And majority of these so called jobs are zero hour contracts controlled by agencies. I should know as I apply for every relevant and non relevant job going daily.

And yes lets not forget the US. It was kids on welfare in Detroit whom created a whole new genre of electronic music – techno. Derick May, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig, Juan Atkins and all the other Underground Resistance crew perfected their craft whilst mostly claiming US welfare cheques and have generated billions for the US economy
Interesting. Because in the interviews with Bill Broughton on the DJ History website the Belleville Three identify themselves as middle class and coming from wealthy backgrounds. So does Jeff Mills. Otherwise they'd never have been able to have afforded the equipment to make the records or been able to move in the right circles within Detroit to get the records made never mind constantly road trip to Chicago and New York to visit clubs and meet other DJs

I just got a new contract in the city centre and turned down a contract with an international company in Leeds.

There's plenty of work around in my field, and none of it is zero hours.
