poppet2
Convince me that there aren't any. Don't just go turn that on its head. It's official, whether you like it or not, the facts speak for themselves, there just aren't enough jobs to go around. Too many people chasing too few jobs, well legal ones anyway. http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2012/feb/06/unemployment-vacancies-ratio
Penistone999
There are jobs, hundreds of thousands of them. Anybody disagreeing with the statement I make here: feel free to convince me that there are no jobs. There would be thousands more jobs if your beloved EU hadnt insisted on opening the borders to free movement of people.

tinfoilhat
How are they going to force the jobless to work if there are no jobs? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2947901/We-stop-dole-two-years-force-jobless-work-says-Labour-s-Rachel-Reeves.html Ed milliband promised everyone under 25 a job. Have you noticed that the British economy has actually gained in terms of employment since then, or does that not fit your agenda? There would be thousands more jobs if your beloved EU hadnt insisted on opening the borders to free movement of people. That is what you make of it, I think there would be hundreds of thousands of fewer jobs if your beloved nationalist approach became prevalent. Let's gamble, shall we? poppet2
Convince me that there aren't any. Don't just go turn that on its head. But here you go: http://jobsearch.monster.co.uk/search/?where=Sheffield http://www.reed.co.uk/jobs/sheffield https://www.randstad.co.uk/jobs/q-sheffield/ http://www.jobsite.co.uk/cgi-bin/advsearch I can carry on, but trust me, there is work for everybody who is interested. Typical. How gullible and what a pitiful argument. Printing so called agency vacancies is hardly evidence, when it has long been exposed on various documentaries that agency jobs, even or especially jobs advertised in Jobcentre's, that a large proportion of such jobs advertised don't exist or have been filled or are just agency jobs replicated. Is that the best you can do?

Is that the best you can do? I agree. Pathetic 'evidence.' But the gullible who have been lucky enough not to have experienced unemployment will swallow it if it's what they chose to believe. If they believe that the country (particularly the North) is recovering, then they'll believe anything. But all this has been discussed, at length, many times before and still they won't believe the reality, so there's really no point in trying again...
