Markstevo
Bridlington & the surrounding coastal villages such as Flamborough Head & Filey are probably the most scenic & more enjoyable for walks.

chumpy
Anderby Creek between Skeg and Mablethorp is quiet and the beach/dunes up to Moggs Eye/Huttoft are great for just mooching about.
Berberis
What is the best beaches near sheffield? What is the best one (Scarborough , Skegness , Bridlington )? Cleethorpes is nice and you can get a train straight to the sea front from Sheffield. I was surprised by how nice it was to be honest.
Glennis
The closest is probably Cleethorpes but whether that actually qualifies as 'seaside' is a thread on its own. I recommend Filey for a good old fashioned seaside experience. Yes, filey has a great beach:cool:

monkey104
Just come back from 3 glorious days in Cleethorpes where we stayed at the show ground caravan site in our own touring caravan. The dog walking is excellent and if you walk south for half hour there are some beautiful sandy beaches and dunes prior to the marshes. We only ventured in to Cleethorpes town once for supplies
