Having kids for benefits

Recommended Posts

If the demon spawn doesn't have ADHD but you've convinced the Dr to diagnose it as so in order to get more benefits then it is fraud.

There is a very small number of SEN children that are just not parented, so the kids will not learn and can become a borderline SEN child, even tho they started off as a normal child.

Not really the issue in this thread tho; Spain have much lower child benefits, and as a result, they have a lower birthrate.

Quite, but as has been said..those guidelines, loopholes, technicalities etc don't just apply to the minion benefit cheat..many are put in place to favour the millionaire tax dodger at the other end of the scale..

I guess if a single parent family just comes into the country, they will be quite high on the priority list. I took me about 5 years, because I rented privately first.

So what? If the doctor gives the diagnosis, they're not breaking any laws.

Maybe not, but possibly unethical. Doctors pumping drugs into some kids who are displaying normal human behaviour like, running, shouting, jumping about, just so they can get a nice little earner from those pharmaceutical reps.

Interesting that the usual hard right wing people on here have given this thread a miss:suspect:

Perhaps they've learned from when John Major's government declared they wanted to go 'back to basics'. I seem to recall that meant publically slating single mums, accusing them of deliberately having babies for benefits & council houses, but enjoying a bit of the old 'rumpy pumpy' in private.

Wasn't this while he was banging Currie on the side? Back to basics alright.

We've already come to the conclusion that ethics don't matter. Take a look at the tax related threads for evidence.

I don't really understand people who want mega large families, but if they do that's up to them a long as they don't expect other people to pay for it.

I'm sure the number of people who do it for benefits are relatively rare, but I do feel sorry for the kids.

Personally, I think that in the future, (a date at least 1 year in advance to give people a chance to plan their families,) child benefit should be capped at 2 or 3 children.

What's wrong with expecting other people to pay for it? Might not be moral but it's legal. Let's not forget how important morals are to people on here. Sod the tax payer, exploit every loophole possible and take everything you can!
