20 million on the breadline in Britain

And how many have not gone to prison and got off scott free?

Do you mean people like this?

"USC was put into administration by Sports Direct and was bought back immediately also by Sports Direct, with its £15.3m debts to staff, suppliers and landlords wiped clear.

When USC went into administration, staff at the Dundonald warehouse, which was shut down with 84 redundancies, were told to load Sports Direct vans with stock that was then sent to the retailer’s headquarters."

If it looks like a scam, smells like a scam, it is a scam...but no matter how irate Margaret Hodge gets during PAC hearings it is Parliament who makes the rules, if they don't like like what is happening it is UP TO THEM to do something about it instead of constant blathering, posturing and grandstanding....and that goes for all parties.

It happens all the time. Really winds me up. It is legal (probably) but they seem to be able to get away with screwing creditors (I suspect the revenue will get their money though). There has been a restaurant and bar on Eccy road and a well known estate agent in Sheffield which has done pretty much the same starting up the next day buying back the shares for £1. It isn't right, it puts all business in a bad light, and it's against Ron's morals.
