ivan edake
It would appear that David Cameron has been having party's at Chequers for his rich and famous friends. The cost has been around £80 per head and have been nothing to do with his job as Prime Minister, all have been private functions. However they have been paid for out of taxpayers money.Surely he should be prosecuted for stealing as would a member of Joe Public who had had their fingers in the till. Bonzo77
All I can find is this but it seems to say he paid for it himself, but used the public building to host the party.
crimescene
I found this...but hardly the most valid of sources. I don't think he would do something like this, this close to an election. Its moronic.
tzijlstra
He has the right to use Chequers as he pleases. It is technically his domicile whilst he is PM, would you deny Obama the right to meet his friends and have a party at the White House if you were American? tzijlstra
Chequers is a public residence that is "gifted" to the PM. And that excludes him from entertaining his friends in his own time because...? Edit: In fact, Wikipedia provides an even stronger clue: "A stained glass window in the long gallery of the house commissioned by Lord and Lady Lee of Fareham bears the inscription: This house of peace and ancient memories was given to England as a thank-offering for her deliverance in the great war of 1914–1918 as a place of rest and recreation for her Prime Ministers for ever." Dave the Rave, eh? :hihi: Rumour has it, he's been dropping a few 'e's too - expenditure on benefits for the working poor and disabled, expenditure on the education maintenance allowance.... Don't forget we're all in this together.

With such a damming dossier of evidence of wrongdoing you must report this to the police immediately.
ECCOnoob
Seems another pile of crap from the Labour PR office known as The Mirror. Jesus, must be getting desperate.
