nwoo139
I am a University of Sheffield student working on a project with my English Literature class called 'narrating community stories'. After reading the city councils 'State of Sheffield' report it became apparent that Sheffield is searching for a new narrative after the decline of the coal and steel industry. I want to keep the Steel City/ industrial City narrative alive as I'm sure many of you will agree, the post-mining situation is still very much alive and relevant to both communities and individuals. I wondered if anybody would be willing to get in contact? No matter how big or small your involvement, whether it was in the mines, on the picket line, women's involvement or generally growing up in this era. I would love to hear from you. Thanks Edited March 1, 2015 by nwoo139
