Kit!
Has anyone else had problems with kids swimming lessons since SIV took over the pools? We've had problems with forever changing instructors (I can't blame the original ones for leaving), new instructors that have no idea about pool safety, over-sized classes (one class today had 16 children to 1 instructor!) & one of our children STILL can't swim after 3yrs of lessons! We're now looking for somewhere else in Sheffield that does ASA swimming lessons if anyone can recommend anywhere.....
kirstyp86
We had the same. We ended up stopping lessons altogether, as my boy knows the basics now. We just take him ourselves. He used to have lessons at Dronfield, but that was about 4 years ago so not sure what they are like nowadays.
go4it
A lot of the instructors seem to be the cast offs from the elite swim quad, those who haven't quite made it. So they know how to swim and race, but have little understanding of kids and how to teach someone to swim.
