It was given for public service in Rotherham - he did Rotherham a big dis-service so he should give the OBE back. NO! it would be better if it was removed from him. Joyce Thacker (ex Director of Children's services) and Mahroof Hussein (ex Cllr and Cabinet Member for Community Cohesion) should also have their MBEs removed Today is the first time that Roger Stone has spoken publically since the Jay Report was published in August. That's it then he's had his hearing now it will probably all get buried and he will retain his gong hope that I am wrong though all the same. It was easy to conclude that Mr Stone is as guilty as a pup near a puddle of piddle. If the committee find him culpable,then the book should be thrown at him. Having been given the opportunity to consider giving back the OBE and declining. It would be an injustice to all the kids affected during his watch that he be allowed to keep it and so it should be taken away from him as painfully as possible.Likewise with his subordinates Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
