ivan edake
Just had a print out from a medical that I did in March. My blood pressure was 102/62 Just wondering if anyone else has had a medical, I think everyone over 40 should be due one from their GP. You should be really happy with these readings, they are not low enough to read treatment.Low blood pressure needing treatment is about half these readings. ---------- Post added 13-03-2015 at 17:56 ---------- Mines 120/100. I had it checked today then the doctor said i need some tests so i think its not good The 120 is great, the other needs to be below 90,preferably in the low 80s. Daven
When I was diagnosed with high blood pressure it was 220/112 - that is seriously high
ivan edake
My blood pressure is often low, but I have Addisons disease, also smoking can lower it. Smoking does not lower blood pressure,it increases it.In fact stopping smoking is one of the first things a doctor will recommend when trying to lower blood pressure. Harleyman
Mine is usually around 115/ 62. It has gone as low as 95/59. I mentioned that to my doctor during the last check up. He asked me if I had felt light headed or had dizzy spells either when standing or getting up from a chair or out of bed. I said no. He said it was nothing to worry about

Anna B
I've often wondered about this: I have high blood pressure and take medication for it. Because of this I now have normal blood pressure. When filling in forms, (for travel insurance etc,) do I say I have high blood presure or normal blood pressure?
kidley
for travel insurance you have to tell them you have high blood pressure, then they will ask what you are taking for it, and i think how high your blood pressure is.
