ad_foster
Hi im thinking about going fishing on the Don tomorrow morning for a few hours, last time i went was after the great flood of 2007 (5 wiers walk on attercliffe) Fancy catching a few grayling, trout maybe even some chub. Can any recommend some good parts of the don? Cheers Confusing. I understood it that using a lure you could fish at any time and it was only live bait during closed season that was a no no (obvs talking "rod and line" here). Does anyone have a clear ruling on this, I'd like to do a little lure fishing down oughtibridge way over the next few days?
charliewag
You're ok to fish artificial lure/fly during the coarse close season on the Don. Worm is the only bait allowed during this period.
