Giving your keys to someone who is staying with you isn't necessarily bad, although I'd only do that with someone I trusted well. Lesson learnt though, get yourself a spare key cut for guests. And asking someone for a lift because you don't feel safe is entirely reasonable. They can say "no" at the end of the day... I don't quite understand why this example is given though, it doesn't appear as if anything bad happened due to this decision. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
