I think, like all teams, there would be some players you would keep in the Championship and some that would not/could not make the step up. I thought Steven Davies was excellent on Saturday, pretty much doing what we all hoped Higdon would do. He was strong, took no nonsense from their players, and on another day, with another linesman, would have been allowed that fantastic goal.

 

The back four could probably play in a league above, although we need a tall, strong centre half adding.

 

Centre of the field needs an imposing figure.

 

But as we have seen in the cup runs of the last two seasons, we can, on the day, hold our own with teams from the top flight.
