I need to rent a van (pref. long wheel base) to move house from Thursday the 2nd Sat evening, but I have to drive over 2 hours to the new place, so I need some flexbility incase of traffic. Can anyone help finding a cheap van rental or somewhere that is more flexible with times that the Thrifty, Enterprise or other chains. Moving house is mega expensive so I am skint. Jim117 Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 I always use Apple at Lowedges. About £50 a day for a swb tranny or £70ish for a lwb high roofer. Vans are a bit tatty but run ok.
