To some extent it depends what you mean by 'prudish', then you have to work out a valid way of measuring it. I read somewhere that some staggering proportion of Irish married men had never seen their wives naked, but that was a while ago. Things may have changed. Judging by the amount of sexting which apparently goes on between younger people in this country, it seems they are not particularly prudish, no... That mobile phones, computers etc can now do so many things apart from just send and recieve lines of text is due in no small part to the efforts and investment in new technology by the porn industry.
