Also, if they don’t get caught (or the authorities don’t believe the victims) they remain under the radar. Look how many years sa vile got away with it. Look how the Rotherham victims were ignored by SY Police and the local authority.

Ex Politician Lord Janner is reported as also avoiding prosecution, in spite of Police saying they have fully investigated evidence which would have resulted in prosecution.

 

Totally agree with you Anna! Apparently the DPP have said "it would not be in the public interest!" Oh yes! Who's interest is it in then? Certainly not the kids.

I don't know about this case and if other people are involved, but I hope that as much as possible is put into the public domain about this, and that if others are involved, then they should be prosecuted if possible.

That's too long.

 

Why?

 

A DBS check shows convictions. If you are in a notifiable position and you even get arrested for something dodgy then the person sponsoring the DBS check will be informed. Once there is a "live" DBS then arguably you can say that you would never need to carry out another if everything worked fine.
