Jeffrey Shaw
We should be in the same time zone as France, Spain and Germany. Both from a geographical point of view, and from a business point of view. That's illogical. USA= one country with four mainland timezones. Russia= one country with thirteen mainland timezones. Do they manage? Yes. QED.
simonj
OMG - ALREADY??? :gag: Thanks for the reminder though....that was a close one, had no blimmin idea Phew! Easy to remember - Last Saturday night in March & last Saturday night in October. March Forward - Fall Back OK, Fall Back refers to an American name for the season but it makes more sense than Autumn or Winter back
Tommo68
Do the clocks go forward next weekend It appears nobody has actually answered your question. Yes. In the UK the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, and back 1 hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October. The reasons will doubtless be pointlessly discussed everytime and to no avail. . . Edited March 28, 2015 by Tommo68

Tommo68
The first three posts answered the question. Did you actually check what you were posting before doing so?... clearly not. No the first 3 first three posts did not, why would you even feel the need to say such a thing? I am honestly curious about that. Do you actually enjoy embarrasing yourself by being wrong? In the 2nd post Max provided a link but did not directly answer the question, there was no almost direct answer till simonj in post 32. The one directly before mine btw. . . What planet do you live on? The question was: Do the clocks go forward next week? The first answer was a post to official government page giving this weekends date. The second answer: Yes, thank god. They should never go back again. The third answer: Yep - i don't' like losing that 1hrs sleep!
