Minimo
I could try and help but more information is needed which you might not want to publicise here. Once you have made five posts you can send me a private message if you so choose.

Frederick1
Ok thank you Don't ever give up Emma. I spent years and years searching for my brother who was adopted in 1941 when my parents divorced. My grandmother knew but would never say anything, and my mother kept away from the subject. I knew he was three years younger than me (I'm 78 now). My niece, who I knew was on Ancestry.com eventually came up with "the goods" so to speak. In January this year she told me he lived only a couple of miles down the road, but had unfortunately died six weeks earlier. A great pity, and in the end quite ironic that he is buried in the same place as my son! As I say, don't give up - you have time on your side which I didn't. :)

Frederick1
You could try Ancestry.com as I assume you know your Mum's name. It will list all the children she had.
