harvey19
Looking at this from another angle has Ed Milliband been shrewd by getting Russell Brand to vote thereby accepting the political system. The actual result being Russell Brand loses credibility with his supporters and Ed Milliband gets rid of a vociferous leader and role model. L00b
I don't trust the ONS. They're a government funded department. That old chestnut I get bored quick, so let me know when you decide to quit ducking and weaving, and we can resume then
loraward
I would have expected Russell Brand to put his weight behind The Get The Snouts Out the Trough Party.
apelike
How can you call him greedy? He's given millions away and doesn't earn a penny from his books or films! It all goes to worthy causes that he has set up or supports. Oh no it doesn't! Some of the profits from his Revolution book are helping to run a social enterprise so don't be misguided into thinking that all his profits go to good causes. What will happen to the profits of his children's book as not much has been said about that one. He is still worth an estimated £9 million plus which came from his previous films, voice acting and other enterprises. His film projects are backed by bankers and investors in them gain tax breaks with the profits going to his company or companies as he owns several. As said previously all he is doing is giving crumbs to the poor whilst making himself rich and famous.

Social enterprises are generally not-for profit. Any profits go back into the business or the local community, why would anyone object to this? harvey19
I bet Russell Brand is kicking himself this morning. His chosen party Labour losing the election and him losing his credibility and many followers.

I don't think his performance in the "debate" in Leeds last week helped him much either ...
