briant33
I personally think Russell is a welcomed beckon of intellectual light in an otherwise bleak and monochrome society. Unfortunately most do not understand a word he is saying.
scousemouse
What does he do exactly, apart from being a total pillock? Even Nick Knowles on a DIY SOS programme called him that. 'Wossy' and Brand showed thier true colours after the Sachs incident, can't understand why they are both paid obscene amounts of money. Waste of space both of them. harvey19
On the eve of the election he urges people to vote Labour. This is the man who previously urged people not to vote. I wonder how many people that listened to his advice not to vote failed to register ?

liam1412
The man speaks sense. People find it hard to hear about inequality from someone who has a few million in the bank. But those people aren't the issue. Those who have worked and earned. It's the people at the very top. The landowners who get paid year in year out just for owning land. The top few percent, who in this country have more wealth than the poorest 12 million. Brand's bank balance is pocket change to those at the very top. Phanerothyme
On the eve of the election he urges people to vote Labour. This is the man who previously urged people not to vote. I wonder how many people that listened to his advice not to vote failed to register ? If he had simply urged people to vote, after endlessly telling anyone who would listen, including Paxo, not to, that would be one thing. To then go on and recommend people vote Labour, means he's flushed what little credibility he had in the first place down the toilet.
Anna B
Russell Brand seems to evoke so much anger. Could that be because he speaks the truth, and certain people don't like it?

Whats the point in a rich person telling us about inequality, when everyone already knows about inequality, it serves no purpose other than his self promotion. Berberis
I wouldn't rise to the haters on here....Still it must be very frustrating to have bottom of the barrel celeb endorsements from the likes of Jimmy Tarbuck, Jim Davidson, David Van Day and Patti Boulaye ---------- Post added 05-05-2015 at 09:04 ---------- You feel betrayed because you don't like his voting intention??? Gary Barlow? Simon Cowell? Julian Fellowes? Lulu? However, the fact is, within the media industry, most are Labour supporters. You will find it hard to find a Tory supporter amongst any of the "Liberal Arts". Colin Firth and Daniel Radcliffe both support the Lib Dems, but most surprisingly, Brian Cox (actor not floppy haired star gazer) has joined the SNP! However, celebrity endorsements mean squat.
