Female singer wanted for fun, funky live dance music band

Hello!

I’m halfway through putting together a fun live project taking influences from house, garage, grime, ska, broken beat, afrobeat, funk and disco… We want to make soulful electronic dance music with a grimey edge and a sense of humour straight out of the UK... somewhere between Basement Jaxx, Bugz In The Attic, Groove Armada, Parliament, Kool & The Gang, Madness and Ian Dury and The Blockheads, for the 21st century. Or something like that.

We have most of a basic lineup already, including a couple of other vocalists, but would really like to balance things out with a female singer to sing some of the lead vocals.

Lots of experience is not important, but we'd like someone who has a bit of soul, could maybe build on some of the parts we've written, and wouldn't be afraid to have a laugh on stage.

Please pm me or email thecoloneluk@gmail.com if you're interested.

Nice!
