LAURA4 Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 anyone remember teatime radio for kids? there used to be an episode of Dick Barton special agent, Aunty Vi, .There was Saturday night that was in t special ,my dad would get the tin bath in and my brother and would sit and listen to Have a Go Joe, appointment with fear with Valentine Dial.my dad would go to the market early on and Saturday he'd bring back sweets, big hard coloured fishes ,humbugs,Scarborough rock sherbet dips and for mum Cadbury's mishapes for himself a big bag of broken biscuits oh happy innocent days Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes, Wilfred (and Mabel) Pickles with "Have a Go"- and oh, Valentine Dyall and his "Appointment with Fear" - the Pit and the Pendulum etc. The thought of it still makes me shiver...Memories!
