aliceBB
Probably by increasing VAT again Well they mysteriously produced an extra £8bn out of their backsides yesterday 'for the NHS', so they must have a big stash somewhere they haven't told us about yet! They've bought a magic money tree from the land of made up money. It mostly gives its fruit to the banking fraternity. Occasionally, the little folk get a few scraps to keep them onside

Guest sibon
Sorry? What? What money have the Tories given to this community wherever it is? Did you miss QE, Ron? Maybe Sky will put the box set on demand for you.
Anna B
It was the sneaky way he slipped in the 'up to 30 hours' proviso which was so cheap and dishonest. On the face of it, 'Minimum wage earners won't pay any tax under Tories' sounds very promising...but as I say, it's meaningless, when you factor in the 30 hours proviso. That's Cameron all over. As I keep saying, it's what he doesn't say that you have to watch. Slippery as a snake - don't trust him.

LeMaquis
It never ceases to amaze me that the Left always accuse the Conservatives of being the "nasty party"...... It was Teresa May who said that in reaction to the electorate thinking it.

Under balls and brown? Those dyed in the wool Tories? ---------- Post added 16-04-2015 at 07:54 ---------- That's Cameron all over. As I keep saying, it's what he doesn't say that you have to watch. Berberis
And your evidence for thinking that is...? It goes up every year. If you had done a modicum of research prior to making your dig, you would have known. RonJeremy
If the tories make sure no one on minimum wage don't pay income tax, and keep helping those at the top avoid paying taxes, or reducing them, where will any revunue come from? Pretending or even believing, that the wealthy don't pay tax doesn't make it true. The Tories have clamped down on aggressive tax avoidance.
