The Joker
Well it is kids that are going to suffer the most as a consequence of high immigration. No. Growing up under the ConDemNation's austerity policy is what will damage the life chances of our nation's children.

So you think the children that grew up in the Blair years will have it good, they will all have a job to go to, all be able to afford an house and all have a good standard of living. loraward
Do you think the children that grow up in the ConDemNation coalition years will have it good, they will all have a job to go to, all be able to afford an house and all have a good standard of living? Of cause not, all three parties are happy to see British children suffer the consequences of very high immigration, higher competition causing wages to stay low and unemployment to stay high. Competition for housing causing rents to be high and house prices to be out of reach of many. Competition for resources causing the cost of living to be high. Competition for education, medical treatment causing quality to be low. And lets not forget about the congested road. Harrystottle
Ah, Tristram Hunt! The only man in Stoke called Tristram! I suppose a tremendously posh bloke like jolly old Trissers doesn't come across ordinary people very often, so he was bound to be reduced to speechlessness. Yes, I too wondered what on earth was Trissers doing in North Derbyshire? Fox-hunting with the landed gentry?
go4it
No. Growing up under the ConDemNation's austerity policy is what will damage the life chances of our nation's children. Education is still free. Any child can work hard and aspire to have a good job.
The Joker
Education is still free. Any child can work hard and aspire to have a good job. Until they get to University, then it'll cost them £9,000 a year, thanks in no small part to Nick Clegg's broken promise that wasn't really a promise because he came third instead of first.
