Bloomsbury Place, Sheffield location

Recommended Posts

Am looking for information on Bloomsbury Place, Sheffield in 1840's and 1850's. My ancestor Thomas Heeley lived there and worked for Dixons Silversmiths at Cornish Place. Presume it was nearby? Any help as to location or nearby streets would be welcomed. Thanks:)

In the 1893 Kelly's Directory there's a Miss Heeley living at 139 Crookesmoor Rd, perhaps a relative?

Thanks Lazarus. Have now discovered this property and several others owned by my family. Were originally Bloomsbury Place but must have become the 130's Crookesmoor Road as Sheffield developped. Miss Heeley was great great aunt Fanny born 1863. Mike Heeley
