DPD Couriers hopeless.

Then again, they don't know what is in the packages so it's better that they treat everything like the crown jewels than treating it all like it's worth nothing.

I'd avoid any of the smaller couriers, those who employ people self employed people like myhermes are a joke for pickup and deliveries. I booked a collection and paid for a certain day, 5 days later it is still waiting for collection!

With deliveries they claimed on that tracking into it had been delivered and signed for before it even reached my door.

 

Stick with the established Royal mail and parcel force.

From a personal experience I can't fault DPD, had a freezer delivered on Wednesday this week, no problem whatsoever. However I concede that things do go wrong in any business, but it's down to how it is dealt with and a satisfactory outcome.
