The Joker Posted April 25, 2015 Share Posted April 25, 2015 Is it me but take in mind how long it eas going on isn't a case of feet being dragged the number of people in Rotherham that have been prosicuted and the conservatives should have done more by now to grt more results Yes, feet are being dragged for many reasons, some of which could be: 1) Local and national elections are taking place soon, and political parties are focussing all their energies on that. 2) The councillors and MPs that did nothing about the scandal are hoping people will have forgotten about it by election time. 3) Political parties of all colours are having problems with CSE scandals of their own, so aren't in a position to point an accusing finger at anyone else. 4) The victims were from poor families and broken homes from Northern England, so nobody really gives a damn about them. They have got their own scandal in Westminster, from the 70s and 80s and maybe more that we do not know about. You are posting on Sheffield forum Mafya, Rotherham is just down the road so more people are going to care and want to discuss it. Also, these people have been brought to justice, whereas the ones from Rotherham seem not to have been. You do seem to defend the Rotherham bunch quite a lot, mainly by deflection.
