El Cid
Are you minimal or a hoarder point of descussion Views tips etc etc I am more of a hoarder, but I do have thoughts of living a basic life in a camper van, surely we could fit all we need into a van. Not sure if I would have space for the lawn mower tho
geared
but I do have thoughts of living a basic life in a camper van, surely we could fit all we need into a van. Right until the van breaks down, or something inside it breaks. Then you need tools, and workspace and stuff, or you pay through the nose for someone else to fix it. The minimalist look is great, I like it alot. but it's not practical unless you intend to keep everything hidden from view.

It depends how you want to live, everything that we need is in town centres. Cheap meals, shower at sports centres, garage, hire shop; you would be saving loads of money in rent and taxes. Janus
You would be surprised at the effect clutter has on the mind without the effect being realised. Ever had a clear-out (wardrbe or garage stuff) and and noticed how good that feels?
lectrolove
I wouldn't say I was a minimalist but I do like a tidy, clutter-free home and have regular clearouts. Unfortunately my OH is a hoarder, well he says he's a collector but I know different. At the moment there's an uneasy truce whereby I insist every time he buys something, something else has to go but even so the general level of stuff in the house creeps up

I have a friend that is buying a business and moving closer to the coast, you can live anywhere if you are mobile, at low cost.
