Pre agreed fair, no arguments, no cash and you can even split the fare with your friend on the app. You can then rate the driver, any driver that average under 3.8 apparently get canned. None of the Mercury drivers have ever asked for up front money or that those getting out pay up to that point. If I'm being honest I loved the Uber taxi, because we used a referral code and got a free journey and the guy had little chocolates in his car which he handed out.
