There is a forum on there, and there are always PHVs for sale or rent. Cant i buy a car with the private hire plate aready on it ?? Yes you can. You have to be licensed to drive it though. pippadoll Posted December 5, 2015 Share Posted December 5, 2015 Is anyone else finding the taxi service to Crookes very poor? There are 2-3 minute waits to book a taxi and when you get through there is s 45 minute wait. We never had problems on this scale with Eagle or Mercury.
