Flanker7 Posted April 30, 2015 Share Posted April 30, 2015 Don't thank me. Nigel Pearson said this as he left the, now famous, press conference. Big issue sellers do it all the time. Reception staff who you have been complaining to often thank you when you have obviously been annoying. Same as when Bjork, in an airport in Thailand, lost it completely when the reporter she had been ignoring for 70 metres said "Welcome to Thailand". Made me think why do people say thank you when obviously havn't done anything to be thanked for. The answer is simple - its to get at you, when they can't think of anything intelligent to say.
