melthebell
I was a season ticket holder with my then young son from approx 2000-2010 season. We saw some good times ie.Prem/fa cup semis/league cup semis/play off(ok 2 final defeats) but around the time of robson i was getting fed up of going.Hence i stopped going. Now utd are a 3rd tier team and have had a couple of playoff defeats-final/semis and cup near success inc wembley visits and yet some fans are FED UP!!! Are they dissalussioned? What owls fans would like a little piece of that success? 3 Months ago owls fans were dreaming of the play offs but mid table finish. Keep the faith in Clough. As some people have said.A couple of centre halfs/stop leaks and who knows? haha i love all this the owls arent as happy as us, want a piece of our success stuff yes youre right, id rather we languished for yet another year in division 3 instead of yet another year in the CHAMPIONSHIP, as high as weve ever been, a brand new owner, the promise of cash, players, and premiership football in the very not too distant future i know which i prefer

green_man
Are you aware what success is dober? I think Doberman has a fair point to an extent when it comes to measuring our successes. The premier league stint and the cup semis can all be considered as significant successes when you look at the clubs particular aims. In our promotion season we were targeting a top 6 finish therefore to achieve promotion exceeded these expectations and should be considered a success. In regards to the cup runs again nobody could have anticipated doing so well in either competition therefore again you can only call them a success as well.
