Did we, thats news to me?

Prescott and Margaret Beckett were the other two in the "race"... but anyone could have thrown their hat in the ring to start with...

and the point being ?

if your going to come back, come back with something sensible.

Yeah thats true, But i wouldnt call the people that represented the Labour party over the last few decades Labour people, Labour in name only

You're making out that Labour aren't Labour..you seem to be in some sort of denial...the Labour leaders have been elected by the Labour members..they aren't Tory....

Don't you reckon parties should change with the times? Do you think a "Labour" Labour would get into power..?

Ah great question.!! i dont know....

I think the main parties have to remain relevant to the times, but still true to their own values and roots, because if not, and you have nothing different to offer, then what is the point.

In my opinion, Labour have just been chasing voters, they may as well have just completely stole the whole Tory values and have done...i believe they are that close.

I believe a True Labour Party with socialist values has an excellent opportunity at this moment in time, There are many people who are disgruntled with the Bankers, Large Corporations, and Austerity,

Maybe ukip, he is anti Europe

perhaps he could take votes back from the Ukip, i think a lot of people voted Ukip just because there was not a better choice :suspect:
