cuttsie
I was in Louth the other day minding my own business when an old biddy on a hired mobility scooter came straight out of a shop at a good rate of knots lost control ,and ran into my dog. Our Frieda yelped ,broke the lead and ran into the road causing traffic to swerve so as to miss running her over. The old biddy on scooter crashed straight of the curb and without so much as a nod shot off like a bat out of hell. This is not an isolated incident as I have noticed more and more of these vehicles on our foot paths and even on the main roads. Thousands of folk rely on them and use them responsibly but others seem to be buying or hiring very large high powered models and using them as an alternative to a car ,in many cases these people do not need them for medical reasons.
