Volunteers needed for Roundabout's new charity shop in city centre

Roundabout is Sheffield's local youth housing charity, supporting 150 young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in South Yorkshire. They are opening their first charity shop in Sheffield city centre (22 Union Street, opposite Howden House) in June 2015.

 

They are looking for volunteers serve customers and sort donations to help raise vital funds for the organisation.

 

They are looking for people who are friendly, approachable and be able to work as part of a team.

 

What can you expect to be doing?

•Serving customers at the till

•Taking receipt of stock donations from the public

•Replenishing stock on the shop floor

•Stock preparation including sorting and pricing

•Possible administrative tasks such as stocktaking

•Handling money.

 

Experience in retail preferred but not essential.

 

The shop will be open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm.
