Mister M
A BBC programme will pit low-paid against each other in Hunger Games-style show to find Britain's Hardest Grafter. Only the UK’s lowest-paid workers will be invited to compete to “show their worth” in the reality show. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/bbc-to-pit-lowpaid-against-each-other-in-hunger-gamesstyle-show-to-find-britains-hardest-grafter-10279386.html However the programme makers claim “Britain's Hardest Grafter is a serious social experiment for BBC Two which investigates just how hard people in the low wage economy work". We'll see. I used to be a supporter of the BBC, and its mission to enlighten and educate. If this programme is about humiliating people, and laughing about their desperate plight, the public will rightly view the BBC as a vehicle for talentless programme makers to wallow in the lowest common denominator. As someone said in response to the original article: "There was a time when the BBC would educate viewers about life on the breadline. Now it wants to turn it into vulgar entertainment". Timeh
Its the BBC, what did you expect? Remember its the same BBC who helped Savile cover up his crimes for all those years, the same organisation who scares people into buying a worthless piece of paper they call a license. They are as bent and dirty as FIFA just much much better at covering it up.

Happ Hazzard
The BBC needs to be scrapped. It is no longer relevant to the normal British working person who make up the vast majority of license fee payers.
alchresearch
It sounds like that spoof TV show that they're trying to launch and keep re-inventing on the comedy W1A
Magilla
The BBC needs to be scrapped. Couldn't disagree more, the BBC is excellent value for money. It is no longer relevant to the normal British working person who make up the vast majority of license fee payers. Which commercial broadcasters in the UK are relevant, and why? What are these programs that're so much more relevant than anything the BBC does? ---------- Post added 28-05-2015 at 14:55 ---------- Remember its the same BBC who helped Savile cover up his crimes for all those years. As did the hospitals that benefitted from Saville's charity work, as did the Police, government of the day and just about eveyone else who was involved. Presumably all these organisations are now worthless in your eye's also?

You wont get any argument from me on this. Presumably all these organisations are now worthless in your eye's also? Presumably you think all is better now and lessons have been learned?
