Is your fuseboard the old fuse type or is it the circuit breaker type?

butlers
Sounds like the RCD has tripped, it will look like the rest of the "fuses" but be twice as wide. Will have Rcd written on it, typically it is at one end or other of the board ---------- Post added 31-05-2015 at 10:43 ---------- if its a temp fault it will reset. if the fault still exists ,it will not reset. In that case turn off all the fuses, reset the rcd .Then one at a time turn on the fuses, that will help find the rogue circuit. A socket circuit most likely is at fault. Kitchen sockets most likley of them Edited May 31, 2015 by butlers
magsmc
There is a yellow button marked RCD protected, Ive turned all the switches off then back on, still not working, how do I reset RCD?
handypandy
On most RCD's you need to push it all the way down.... and then back up to the top. If it trips again, unplug everything and try again. ,
