Former LibDem leader Charles Kennedy has died.

I think that he'd been in the House of Commons for 30 years. Surely he was due a seat in the House of Lords.

No, I think it was widely known he had a drink problem. I did have a bad feeling about him when he lost his seat, that it might knock him back, so to speak. Its a shame, he was too young to die. I always quite liked Charles Kennedy for some reason. Hope he RIP.

He came over on telly as a quite decent bloke, which cannot be said of many MP's.

 

It's well known he was fighting the demon drink, on top of this, getting ousted from his position as an MP might have been the last straw for him.

 

No matter how he passed, RIP Charles.
