Singer songwriter Nigel Parsons has a treat coming up for thirsty ears. The Lancashire musician who's made Sheffield his adopted home is playing a live gig at Strip the Willow next Wednesday. He’ll be playing his own material, including Beachcombing, Look What You’ve Done and The Long Goodbye, and you can also expect classics by the likes of Boo Hewardine, Susanne Vega, Henry Priestman and Elvis Costello, as well as covers of other local artists, like the melancholic Pigeon Park by local musician Clive Hudson.
