biotechpete
Unless the original questions in relating to mandatory terminations, which i very much doubt. This test gives women the details they need to make an informed decision on continuing a pregnancy or not. Individual women should have the final say on what happens to their bodies. How does having a downs syndrome baby in any way alter what would happen to the woman's body during pregnancy? In which case it's a decision based on the outcome of the pregnancy not on the matter of having or not having a child per se. I also think the father should have a right to contribute to the decision, but that's a whole other debate.

So if she has the test and it's positive for DS she can choose to terminate or not.
cassity
Why not go one step further and drown babies with Cerebral Palsy or euthanize any children badly injured in accidents? Why would you propose that?
