Was going to vote to REMAIN because i believe it is only the EU that reins in the Tories with no current socialist opposition, but really concerned about the prospect of Turkey (an Asian country anyway) joining the EU.

The thought of millions of Turks relocating (in the main Muslim too, forget that secular crap), does not fill me with optimism for my kids future. I am not religious and would prefer a society with reducing religion not increasing, whether it be Christian, Jewish, Muslim or whatever.

Start throwing the religious stones at me if you like, but believe me they won't make any impression so save your energy. BD

I'm not getting the argument that we need to stay in the single market because without it we wouldn't create new jobs, what do we need to create new jobs for when apparently we need immigrants to do these new jobs?

Because without immigration the economy would have stalled, and your friends Dave and George would have been deep in the crap.

The people you have spent six years doggedly defending want and need the immigration you hate. As do the businesses that fund their party.

And let's face it, businesses are not going to respond well to having the source of cheap labour shut off. The big question is where is the cheap labour is going to come from after Brexit? They will have already planned it. Are you scared to ask the question.

Turkey won't be joining. One veto from one country is all it takes to stop them.

If you don't like the Tories, you can vote against them.

This is bigger than that.

But at the risk of losing your vote, I wouldn't expect Turkey to be admitted any time soon.

Maybe not immediately but the motions and route are definitely in place. Only a matter of time.

Because without immigration the economy would have stalled.

But why would that mater, just increasing the population can cause economic growth, but how does it benefit the average person.

We create a a million jobs, we need several hundred thousand immigrants to do those jobs, some are low paid so the immigrants need in work benefits, some are better paid so they pay tax, we then need more public services, school places, NHS beds and staff, more houses, more roads, more food and goods which means more imports, more energy, all of which are bad for the environment.

Apparently Bulgaria and Romania joined the European Union “before they were ready” a group of peers has said, as the coalition and Labour attempt to deal with public anxiety about immigration.

In a report published today, the House of Lords EU committee said the union needed to ensure countries wishing to become members were committed to democracy, human rights and the rule of law.

However the peers said these tests were not applied rigorously enough when it came to accepting Romania and Bulgaria in the “scramble” to allow them to join in 2007, leading to the “unsatisfactory” situation of tests having to be applied after the fact.

Will something happen that leaves the EU scrambling to get Turkey into the EU.

erdogan has today given a speech marking international womens day saying that turkish women should have 3 children each and that womens liberation cannot happen through the notion of destroying family.

So when they eventually get in, which they will, they will be even more of them all wanting to come to the eu and UK.

Sutty when erdogan gets annoyed or wants something more he will just reopen the med to immigrants. When does the eu bribe money run out?

Open the med?......gee if only there was some sort of, I dunno, EU army or navy or something to patrol it!

One of the biggest obstacles to Turkey joining the EU Panzer, is the man running that country now.
